A 5-minute walk from Kintetsu-Nara Train Station, Tsubakiso is an 80-years old Japanese townhouse with a lovely garden and free Wi-Fi throughout. Guests sleep in futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor. Parking is free and free mineral water is provided.
All rooms are air-conditioned and include a low table with floor cushions, an LCD TV and an electric kettle with green tea. Each room has an en suite bathroom. The sliding paper screens open onto a small patio or garden views in some rooms.
Kofuku-ji Temple is a 10-minute walk from the inn, and Kasuga Shrine and Todai-ji Temple are about 2 km away. JR Nara Train Station is 850 metres away.
The inn is located on a quiet street in a residential neighbourhood. Guests can enjoy the peace of the garden and take in the traditional Japanese architecture. Free laundry services are available.
Guests can request a simple Japanese-style breakfast at the time of booking. A vegetarian breakfast can be arranged upon request.
