El Crown Inn se encuentra en el centro de la pequeña y encantadora localidad de Gayton y cuenta con 4 habitaciones cómodas y acogedoras, que presentan una decoración rural tradicional e incluyen TV con canales Freeview y set de té y café.
El edificio conserva gran parte de su carácter original y de su encanto tradicional. Algunos de sus elementos datan de entre 1216 y 1262, cuando el edificio se construyó como residencia para el cantero y los obreros que trabajaron en la construcción de la iglesia situada justo enfrente. Algunos lugares presentan vigas bajas de madera originales.
El The Crown Inn admite perros en las habitaciones y en todo el establecimiento salvo el restaurante, siempre y cuando tengan un comportamiento adecuado. Gayton is a small village situated 6 miles (10 km) from King's Lynn and within easy reach of the beautiful Norfolk coastline, which is just 10 miles (16 km) away at its nearest point. Norwich, Cambridge and Peterborough are all within an hour’s drive and offer excellent shopping, sightseeing and entertainment.
There is a regular bus service through the village, which can connect to intercity buses and also the main line railway station at King's Lynn. London is just over 2 hours away by rail.
For those who enjoy walking, there are plenty of footpaths in the surrounding area and close by are both Peddars Way and the North Norfolk Coastal Path. Sandringham Estate is only 6 miles (10 km) away, which must surely have some of the best walking in the country and dogs are welcome there too. Free wireless internet access is available throughout and there is a computer in the bar for guests’ use, free of charge.

Clay pigeon shooting, trout fishing and simulated game days are all available nearby by prior arrangement. The inn can also sometimes help to organise deer stalking, pigeon shooting or driven days by prior arrangement.
