Nestled in extensive gardens in central Swanage, less than 300 metres from the seafront.
Steeped in history, the rooms all have a private bathroom, and some have sea or garden views. Accommodation is in the modern Louisa Lodge, separate from the main hotel. All rooms have a flat-screen TV and iPod dock.
Breakfast is served in the Elizabeth Garden Conservatory every morning from 07:30 to 10:00 Monday to Saturday and 08:00 - 10:00 on Sundays. Both serve hearty breakfasts.
Just 300 metres from the World Heritage Jurassic Coast, Louisa Lodge & Purbeck House Hotel is only 15 miles from lively Bournemouth. Free on-site parking is available. The town of Swanage holds numerous events during the year including a regatta, watersports week and various art and music festivals.
The surrounding National Trust countryside is renowned as an area of outstanding natural beauty, and the Isle of Purbeck golf course with its 9 and 18-hole courses features superb views over Studland and Poole Harbour. Explore the 47 mile Purbeck Cycleway with its spectacular views.
The bay is popular for a variety of watersports and is widely recognised as being an excellent base for diving. The famous Monkey World is only 20 minutes’ drive from Swanage.
