The Thüringer Forest lies in the middle of several mountain ranges in Europe. It offers a hilly landscape with several characteristic villages, but above all the largest continuous forest area of Germany. Here the hiker can enjoy it all to ones heart content. Exactly in this spot lies the city Wutha-Farnroda at a short distance from the Wartburg and the Rennsteig.

Haus Krimhild is situated in the village part Mosbach on a 2500 m large parcel directly at the edge of the forest and offers accommodation on the first floor. The holiday home is about 68 m2 and has two bedrooms. It has a fully functional kitchen and a garden with furniture, possible to barbeque.

Besides that you can, due to the central location, take several excursions to among others, the stalactite caves (8 km.), the Wartburg and the Luther house in Eisenach (10 km.) or visit one of the many castles and fortresses in the region. Therefore an ideal destination for the hiker and the lover of culture.
