Questa crociera fu costruita ai tempi di D. Manuel I (1495-1521), a giudicare dalle caratteristiche architettoniche che presenta. Ad ogni modo, quello che oggi esiste è una composizione ibrida che è stata costruita nel XVIII secolo, quando ci sono state massicce opere in tutto il convento e a giudicare dalle caratteristiche artistiche degli elementi più moderni che sono stati utilizzati.

Così abbiamo due gradini ottagonali e il gambo di tre piccole colonne intrecciate come elementi originali del primo Cinquecento. L'urna sotto una base esagonale è tipicamente barocca. La croce che completa tutto il set ha anche caratteristiche più moderne dell'asse, potendo essere databile al secolo XVIII.
