Santa Bárbara Castle is located in the center of the city of Alicante, Spain; on Mount Benacantil, rock mass of 166 m. of altitude at the border with the sea, which gave it an enormous strategic value, because from it can see all the bay of Alicante and its terrestrial surroundings.
The image of the mountain of the beach resembles a face, by what receives the name of "the face of the moro" and is an icon of the city of Alicante.
