In short. plenty to keep you busy. The Erlaufsee. 15 minute s drive away. is a lovely mountain lake with beach. slides. playground and hire of boats and water bikes. You could also go diving. There is a diving school. The restaurants are excellent and not expensive at all. The Lunzersee. 45 minute s drive away. is a lovely mountain lake with a lovely beach. You can hire electric boats to really enjoy the surrounding area. Vienna is only an hour s drive away. and truly is a must. For walkers. nature lovers. motorbike riders. mountain bikers and families with children. this is the spot for an unforgettable holiday. It s not only lovely here in the summer. but in September and October you can enjoy forest walks in the midst of the beautiful fall colours. In the winter you can Nordic ski and alpine ski in the nearby ski areas (Annaberg. Ötscher. Hochkar). without the lines at the lifts and much cheaper than elsewhere.
